Our Origin
Our Founder, John Devine, started Digital Heat Corporation to commercialize a patented electric eyelid heater for the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction. This safe, innovative medical device was FDA Cleared and sold around the world before OCusoft acquired the business line and patents. Understanding the correlation between heat, vasodilation, cutaneous blood flow and the subsequent impact on skin is not easy, but at Digital Heat we have derived an electric face mask embodying that understanding.
